There is not any 1.5.24 release!
Only CVS snapshots: 1.5.23c and 1.5.25a.

Maybe you could fix the nonsensical SRC_URI at least? The ebuild header is broken as well.

it'll be availabe soon upstream so no, there's no point in fixing it

You are downloading 1.5.23b and 1.5.24; see comment #2.
