hwdata detects for the ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 the "frglx" driver, but the card needs the "radeon" driver.

0x1002  0x4c57  "Card:ATI Radeon (fglrx)"       "ATI Technologies Inc.|Radeon Mobility M7 LW (AGP)"

must be:

0x1002  0x4c57  "Card:ATI Radeon"       "ATI Technologies Inc.|Radeon Mobility M7 LW (AGP)"

What's hwdata? Post exact ebuild name and version and reopen then.

I'm not really sure how I did it, but I missed this bug.  I'll look into it for 2008.0 Beta 2.

Strange.  It's correct in SVN.

Anyway, I'll be rolling up a new hwdata shortly, so it should be FIXED.

I'm closing this bug as this was supposedly fixed and there has been no activity in here for the past 3 years.
