Description Mark Mealman 2003-03-17 17:05:24 UTC
Any chance on getting the following added to the default /etc/jed.conf:

() = evalfile ("emacs");

The man page for jed says that the above line is in the system-wide rc config
file by default. When first coming from another distribution, it sorta also
threw me for a loop when Gentoo's jed wasn't recognizing my emacs key strokes :)

okay sounds like a valid point
Comment 2 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-02 08:40:45 UTC
i hope you don't mind me taking this. i'm pretty much maintaining jed.
Comment 3 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-04 09:07:39 UTC
fixed now. emacs is now the default keybinding.
