Description Stanley Sufficool 2007-05-03 20:24:50 UTC
Conversion of a single page from a multipaged TIFF to a PNG yields a TIFF with no failure message.

This was previously worked around by using graphicsmagick, but pecl-imagick no longer has the option to compile against graphicsmajick (USE FLAG graphicsmagick).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Emerge the latest (broken) pecl-imagick and imagemagick
1. $handle = imagick_readimage("mytiff.tif[5]")
2. imagick_convert( $handle , "PNG" );
3. print imagick_getmimetype( $handle ); // Shows image/png
4. print imagick_image2blob( $handle ); // Outputs a TIFF image

Actual Results:
Mime type of PNG
Image type of TIFF

Expected Results:
Mime type of PNG
Image type of PNG

Well, it was removed. :)

Graphicsmagick is package.masked and is scheduled for removal from the tree soon, so we had to drop the graphicsmagick dependencies (and thus support) in the pecl-imagick ebuilds.
Best regards, CHTEKK.
