Fresh install on Ultra 10.
emerge sync (OK)
scripts/ (OK)
emerge system
  fails after iptables-1.2.7a-r3 * Done with patching
  * Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE!  Value for $EPATCH_SOURCE is:
  *   /usr/portage/net-firewall/iptables/files/sparc64_limit_fix.patch.bz2
File does not exist in portage tree.
emerge sync (OK)
emerge system
  Fails again with same error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sync
2.emerge system

Actual Results:  
!!! ERROR: net-firewall/iptables-1.2.7a-r3 failed.
!!! Function: epatch, Line -8363, Exitcode 0
!!! Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE!

Expected Results:  
complete emerge system successfully.

What stage tarball are you using to do this and what version of stage tarball?

What happened was iptables recently moved from sys-apps to net-firewall in the portage directory structure, and the sparc64_limit_fix.patch.bz2 was left out.  I have put it back into portage.  Wait about half an hour, emerge sync again and see  if emerging iptables is happier this time around.

emerge system (completes iptables and continues)

Bug resolved.

Added missing patch back into files directory.
