The new version of coreutils moves /bin/id to /usr/bin/id .. rp-pppoe has /bin/id hardcoded in pppoe-{start,connect,setup}.. It should be fixed ASAP, since it prevents pppoe users from connecting to the internet with no obvious sign of the cause when using the baselayout net script.. 

Moving around base utilities like that should be done much more carefully...

here's a better idea ... write scripts without hardcoded paths
