Description Dominique Michel 2007-04-12 11:43:59 UTC
The above symlinks are not created by tetex-3.0_p1-r3. When running jadetex, I get the following error:

sh: jadetex: command not found

and:

# equery f app-text/jadetex
[ Searching for packages matching app-text/jadetex... ]
* Contents of app-text/jadetex-3.13-r1:
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/jadetex -> /usr/bin/virtex
/usr/bin/pdfjadetex -> /usr/bin/pdfvirtex
...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.launch lyx and create a dockook document
2. Try to visualize it as dvi
3.

Actual Results:
sh: jadetex: command not found

Expected Results:
To see my lyx docbook document in xdvi

I created the symlinks:

cd /usr/bin/
ln -snf tex virtex
ln -snf pdftex pdfvirtex

run

/usr/sbin/texmf-update

and re-merged jadetex and it work now. But I think at those 2 symlinks must be created during tetex-3.0 installation. It is what texlive-2005 ebuild do: http://dev.gentoo.org/~pclouds/texlive/overlay/app-text/texlive-core/texlive-core-2005.ebuild
