Description Pardsbane 2007-04-04 17:51:35 UTC
This driver adds linux 2.6 support for the GPIO pins on the embedded Soekris boards. It does not integrate with the new gpio/led driver interface in Linux.

this ebuild is currently titled gpio-new, since I don't know how to reconcile it with the existing gpio package, which is for the Linux 2.4 kernel.

ebuild for gpio-new

I have been using dev-embedded/gpio-new as the package name.

Is this still relevant nowadays? Is upstream alive? If so, this ebuild could use some love like EAPI 5 and more (perhaps it fits well in an overlay?). If not, we can probably close this.

i don't think so. mainline linux has a proper sysfs gpiolib layer now for userspace ...
