I don't suffer this problem with 1.20.6
Here it is working fine now (1.20.6 too). Although this is not the same system where the problem was observed (I'm unable to test this on that gentoo install, it's gone), I doubt this would depend on, e.g., architecture. I suppose the problem was fixed upstream.
