please find attached vmware-esx-console-2.5.3.28065.ebuild.

This version is needed to connect to the newest VmWare-ESX-Server-2 version.

As far as I'm aware, no one in the vmware herd has an ESX server to play about with, so bumping this may be more difficult than it sounds.  Perhaps we should consider masking ESX related stuff and/or recruiting (posting in staffing needs for) someone with a copy of ESX?

Ehh... it's more than that.  I have access to ESX, just not ESX 2.x, which is what this software requires.  This particular package probably needs to stick around so long as VMware still supports ESX 2.x themselves.

Sorry, my mistake.  I'd thought only Matt had access to ESX, I must've misunderstood...

Well, he was the only one with access to GSX and ESX 2.x, which is what this package requires.  Basically, I have no way to test that this actually works.
