didn't work for me... I'm using openoffice-bin 2.1.0. should I find it on the Extensions List?
I guess the OOO plugin works only with SuSE OOO. But the console app works. (Should we just install that then?)

But the console app works. > (Should we just install that then?) > I know this is an old bug but the solution lies here: http://katana.oooninja.com/w/odf-converter-integrator They have a source version specifically for any distribution. It would be nice to get an ebuild for this but I think OOo 3.0 is going to support it natively, although I am not certain.
OOo 3.0 does support it natively, but the odf-converter-integrator does a better job. Any thoughts about re-doing this ebuild as odf-converter-integrator? I haven't looked into it enough to know what would be involved.
The bug for the ebuild to merge odf-converter-integrator by OpenOffice Ninja is here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/288857 Well this bug is for odf-converter by Novell.
