When building autofs it checks the local mount command for -s (sloppy) mount support. I think it would be very useful to have a flag to force automount to not use sloppy mount especially when building embedded systems (which are hardly ever built on the actual machines).

Sorry, but feature requests go upstream, not to Gentoo.
