Description Stefan Böhmann 2007-03-07 05:14:23 UTC
I'm using nvidia-drivers in a guest system running under vserver. But the problem is that in such vm is no kernel-source and thus nvidia-driver didn't build. A workaround is to fetch the kernel-sources in each vm, copy the config from the host and build the modules. But this resolution isn't nice.

I think it would be fine to add a use-flag so that nvidia-drivers not build the kernel-modules (and maybe also in similar ebuilds with a kernel-module part).

Reproducible: Always
