Affix is an opensource bluetooth stack by Nokia Research Center in Helsinki.
It is known to work better with Symbian Smartphones. I started to create an ebuild, but it's a bit hard. I would need some help from someone with more experience since it touches the kernel source. Or if someone else wants to write one :-)
