The problem with libsdl isn't asm/page.h, it's yasm 0.5, see bug #163053: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=163053 There are other bugs, though, see: genkernel-3.4.7_pre3 fails while compiling busybox http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168599 sys-apps/util-linux-2.12r-r5 fails to compile against linux-headers-2.6.20-r1: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168278 dev-lang/perl-5.8.8-r2 fails to compile with linux-headers-2.6.20-r1: no asm/page.h: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168312 And the tracker bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=163542 Please close this as a duplicate of 163053
Sorry, the tracker bug is bug #159304
Not a linux-headers bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 159304 ***
well libsdl was failing for me with the same error.... ./src/video/Xext/Xxf86dga/XF86DGA.c:21:40: error: asm/page.h: No such file or directory ln -nsf /usr/src/linux/include/asm-x86_64/page.h /usr/include/asm fixes it here so that it will compile but its a hack i know... anything better?
(In reply to comment #4) > well libsdl was failing for me with the same error.... Why not just read the comments before posting yet another one? Such as comment #1 which has even a link to the appropriate bug.
