Description Jesús García Crespo (aka Sevein) 2007-02-25 12:17:24 UTC
I was trying LVM2 resizing logical volumes when I saw it was impossible to resize the ext3 filesystems because resize2fs (sys-fs/e2fsprogs-1.39.r1) gives me always a Segmentation fault error. I tried in two different hard disks and in a loopback filesystem too (without LVM) and the problem was the same always:

## resize2fs 1.39 (29-May-2006)
## Resizing the filesystem on /dev/sda1 to 24414775 (4k) blocks.
## Segmentation fault

I downgraded to sys-fs/e2fsprogs-1.39 and the problem was not appeared again. Maybe the problem is here:;

  +files/e2fsprogs-1.39-util-strptime.patch, e2fsprogs-1.39-r1.ebuild:
  Touchup source code.

Reproducible: Always
