After updating to gcc-4.1.1-r3 g++ crashes immediately with a segmentation fault. I did some more tests and it seems the cpp segfaults (and not the g++) when run on C++ files: cpp <somecfile.c> -> OK cpp <somecppfile.cpp> -> Segmentation fault
so rebuild gcc with -g and try running it through gdb
try a newer version of gcc
4.1.2 works fine
