New xfprint hard depends on cups and this is not good, I think. It can be compiled without it. Why not add USE-flag?
Cups provides both cups and lpr backends to xfprint.
And what if I don't have net-print/cups and don't want to install it?
Then don't use xfprint, easy.

> Then don't use xfprint, easy. Ha-ha. :) But this is not a solution. xfprint CAN work without cups. I can disable cups manually in my overlay with each release. But is it very big problem to add USE-flag so all gentoo users can choose what they want? I thought gentoo is made with flexibility in mind. It is maintainer choice at all, but I want to here more reasonable reject than "cups is enough" or "don't use". If You have not such - say "I want it that way only. For my personal reasons.", then I'll leave it.
I've already reopened the original bug, so kindly keep your ranting directed to /dev/null, ktnxbye. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 160671 ***
