When rotating between the beryl virtual desktops with the normal kicker-pager applet, it shows only one desktop. This replacement makes it useable with beryl/compiz.

?? This is an additional peace of software (a fork), a kicker applet that can be used INSTEAD of the normal (also kicker applet) pager. How can that be handled by upstream? A merger of the two is unlikely...

I don't see any reason why kicker couldn't be fixed to work correctly w/ beryl; really don't need a special fork for this.

Why merging anyway? Upstream should just use the fork instead. I don't see any disadvantages.
