Comment 4 Karl Ernst Brunk 2007-01-14 17:29:21 UTC
me again. stupid suggestion about gcc....
But did the ebuild had a change between the 5th and the 14th ?
What about the gtk-Flag?
Why is within src_unpack a unconditional run of eautomake in the directories depending on the gtk-Flag ?
In spite of this - it did run at the 5th - the gtk-Flag switched on.
greetings
Karl

Me too, same error on 1.0.14_rc1.

Comment 6 Markus Dittrich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-16 14:25:18 UTC
At least on my systems alsa-tools-1.0.14_rc1's autoconf fails when
no glib-1*/gtk-1* is present. With it present, it compiles fine. Hence, there's
probably some confusion in one of the autotools scripts.

cheers,
Markus

strange beqause off :
gtk? ( =x11-libs/gtk+-2* )
It should look for some version above 2. And it did this for me at the 5th.
No 1.2 Versions of gtk and glib installed here. Just plain 2.10.6 / 2.12.4-r1 !
But within the configure-Files there is a check of gtk2 followed by if-not-then-going for gtk-1.2 .
For me : if i comment the lines
#	for dir in echomixer envy24control rmedigicontrol; do
# pushd ${dir} &> /dev/null
# eautomake
# popd &> /dev/null
#	done
in the ebuild, all compiling is going well and it is build against gtk/glib/-2*-Versions.

Yeah sorry, my fault for forgetting about this before.
Fixed now, while I'm on break from the break.
