Description Heiko Gerstung 2007-01-08 17:08:57 UTC
Hi there!

I tried to setup a media server which serves mpeg2 video files I recorded from DVB (or ripped from my DVDs) via http and found out that Apache apparently comes without support for large files (>2GB) on 32bit systems.

As far as I could check there are several patches from different Linux distributions available that add large file support to Apache and I wonder if it would be possible to add one of these patches to the apache ebuild (maybe using a "lfs" use keyword).

Best Regards,
Heiko
