Zero-day bump requests are annoying, but I've taken the liberty of cleaning up the old ebuild and updating the "add root option" patch. This version provides proper 2.5 support and a bunch of installation script fixes. Hopefully this'll clear up bug #148726.

documentation installation (1.0.2 installs with option --with-docs by default)

It looks like upstream resolved the distutils root option issue since 1.0_beta3 so the root patch is no longer needed. without a patch "python setup.py --help install" shows the root option.

this patch is same as comment #1 but with patch removed.
