Description Alexander Skwar 2006-12-26 05:26:01 UTC
On http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html, there's a new version of the driver available.

gspcav1 "Generic Softwares Package for Camera Adapters" version 1.00.11 date: 16/12/2006

URL of the tar.gz: http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download/gspcav1-20061216.tar.gz

In tree, there's a version from 25/09/2006.

I was able to build the new version using the 20060925 ebuild.

gspca doesn't work and is older. And it's also a less lot work to make gspcav1 use the newer tar.gz.

You know about what. "About" getting an up to date gspca driver.

This is IMO stupid.

That's what Bug 159125 is about.

You know that it was not. It was about a different driver (the v2 version). This bug is about gspcav1, the v1 version of the driver.

Anyway, reopening, as gspcav1 is not going to be dumped (per bug #159125 comment #12).

ZOMG, stop the ranting already... Argh.
Comment 10 Mike Doty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-20 17:00:21 UTC
like I said in the other bug, I made the mistake masking gspcav1. 20070110 is in the tree now.
