I have also made ebuilds for the new versions. I'm not sure if my rte and zvbi
have any advantages but my zapping-0.6.6.ebuild installs zapping_setup_fb
correctly. No previous ebuild for zapping (including the one attached earlier
to this bug) seems to do this, even the current stable zapping in portage (!).
I believe zapping_setup_fb is quite important for zapping to function
correctly.

Attached is a tar with rte-0.5.1, zvbi-0.2.4 and zapping-0.6.6.

the zapping-0.6.6.ebuild file in rsync needs the following two lines in the src_install method:

rm ${D}/usr/bin/zapping_setup_fb
dosym /usr/sbin/zapping_setup_fb /usr/bin/zapping_setup_fb

these should be inserted after the zapzilla lines.

how can I close this bug? zapping-0.6.6 is already in rsync so we don't need this here anymore.

alright. this is in portage now.
