Description David Carlos Manuelda 2006-12-18 16:38:58 UTC
A brief explanation, I changed a CFLAG, so I wanted to emerge --emptytree world, but first, I like to fetch all (in case of fail of the internet), so I did a emerge --emptytree world -f. At end of aprox 600 packets, it told me that there were some fetch errors, to see above (first, I was on a tty, so there is no possibility to see above, second, list too big to see above).

In my case, the problem was caused by quake4-data (wich couldn't be fetched because I didn't have the DVD inside), but, wouldn't be better to have a list at end of packets that caused troubles?

For example:

Fetching (600/600) (some program)
(.... OK)

There was some fetching errors:
   [ERROR] quake4-data

(shell) $

Yes, that would be much better. I hate it when it tells me that "there were some fetch errors" and leaves me wondering which ones failed.

It's fixed to show a list in svn r5322.
