Description Joakim 2003-02-15 14:10:11 UTC
Please find the attached webalizer.tar.gz containing webalizer-2.01.10-r3 and some adjusts in files.
This is to make webalizer apache2 aware/compatible (it now crash on apache2 install as all paths have
apache and not apache2 in them. This is really my very first ebuild so please check it in case I have
missed something. Seam to merge and work ok in my end.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Same Problem here, but I prefer to use has_version=net-www/apache-2* instead of use="apache2" and this ebuild doesn't need a new webalizer.conf.

Comment 4 Clemens Schwaighofer 2003-03-14 10:01:48 UTC
the ebuild does not include the apache.webalizer include into the apache2.conf ? should this be done?
Comment 5 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-02 09:15:12 UTC
i think it does, any status-report on this bug?
Comment 6 Donny Davies (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-05 01:50:40 UTC
please post attach a unified diff patch to this bug, clearly showing
what it is you want fixed...otherwise i dont have the patience to wade though loosely copy and pasted mumbo jumbo as it makes things very irritating.

posting a patch is the best way to faciliate bug fixes

well, no problem :)
Comment 8 Clemens Schwaighofer 2003-05-12 22:58:01 UTC
why isn't this in the official ebuild tree? it is very anoying! This is actually a blocker bug, as it does not work with apache2, so it should be updated ASAP.
Comment 9 Donny Davies (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-04 23:22:45 UTC
Umm, excuse, Mr smartass... but this patch is broken.

has_version =net-www/apache-2* \
          && insinto /etc/apache2/conf/addon-modules \
          || insinto /etc/apache2/conf/addon-modules

^^^ that is not correct.

furthermore, the place for config snippets in apache
has moved to the modules.d subdirectory instead of
the addon-modules subdirectory, which doesnt exist
anymore in the apache2 config schema of things.

please fix this. and please not so many path components
in your diff file! and make the diff file create a
new revision, -r3!

but you're on the right track ;)
