Description Timothy Stotts 2006-12-05 16:29:04 UTC
>=xfce-base/xfce4-4.3 should directly or indirectly depend upon xarchiver

xarchiver-0.4.2rc2 is distributed by the XFCE project as an official part of the XFCE 4.4 RC2 (4.3.99.2) source and not a 3rd-party addon.

To reflect upstream behavior, I am of the opinion that xarchiver should be in portage and that >=xfce-base/xfce4-4.3.99.2 should depend upon it.

Note that this bug depends upon Bug 112132, adding xarchiver to portage.

Fixed in 4.3.99.2-r1. Thanks for reporting.

Sorry to reopen.

Please keyword xarchiver the same as xfce4.

AFAIK, xarchiver is missing ~ppc where rest of xfce4 is ~ppc. Other archs, didn't bother to look.

Thanks.

My bad.
Comment 5 Josh Nichols (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 19:52:37 UTC
For the final release, xarchiver isn't going to be included with the rest of XFCE.
