You have one real solution and few hacks to pick from:

- Use gentoo-sources-2.6.19-r1 because it's fixed in it.

- or you can execute: FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge madwifi-ng to avoid using Sandbox.

- or you can patch your current kernel sources with 2900_astest-sandbox.patch that is included in 2.6.19-r2 patchset found in http://dev.gentoo.org/~dsd/genpatches
