Could somebody please mark clamav 0.88.6 as stable, or is there any reason not to do so ? It is the latest stable version, and calamv keeps complaining to be upgraded :-). Thanks
The version warning isn't harmful in any way. Instead of stabilizing prematurely, try talking some sense into upstream to allow for version lag, as other distributions usually lag way more than us. There are still few days left until the 30 day period passes for 0.88.6, and I'm not going to cut the corner on this package - the 30 day stabilization policy is already becoming too much of a 20-ish day policy for most people.
I know that it's not harmful, it's just a bit annoying... :-) Anyway, thanks for the explanation of why it isn't stable yet.
