Attach the cache entry here - it's in /var/cache/edb/dep/usr/portage/app-accessibility/SphinxTrain-0.9.1-r1, post emerge --info and reopen then.

I erase
/var/cache/edb/dep/usr/portage/app-accessibility/SphinxTrain-0.9.1-r1
and emerge --sync agin a few hours later

This is fixed in svn r4501 (already released in the 2.1.2 branch).  For 2.1.1-r2, this issue is a regression relative to 2.1.1-r1.  This problem is essentially the same as bug #126692.

You can remove all the cache entries that trigger this with `rm -rf /var/cache/edb/dep`.  Then run `emerge --metadata` to repopulate the cache.
