Description genbug 2006-11-25 03:05:03 UTC
This seems to be generally the case. I have hit this before on other packages.

gentoo cvs does not seem to have any of the patch files needed to complete an ebuild no longer in the portage tree.

If the patches are gone from the local tree it seems impossible to recover them to complete an overlay for a previous ebuild. This severely reduces the value of the CVS archive.

It seems odd that the ebuild is there but not the patches it needs to run.

In the current instance there is a bug in 9629 for GeForce 4200 Ti cards that segfaults. I need to install 9626 but NVIDIA-1.0.9626-i2c.diff is missing.

Where can I find that file?

Thx.

appologies for the dupe , bugzilla is taking several minutes (like 10m !) to respond to the post.

I saw a post had a reply because I got an email notification but bugzilla did not show it so I pressed refresh, it seems this trigger a resend of the post data.

sooory. ;)
