Description nefercheprure 2006-11-23 05:11:07 UTC
After having examined the point that shows the

ACCESS DENIED  access_wr: /

error message for the first time, I have moved sys-apps/sandbox into my
overlay. Then I have added "set -x" after the
'ewarn "FEATURES=-sandbox emerge sandbox"' line, that was the last line
printed before the error appeared.

The transcript from the vicinity of the error follows. Emerge info output is attached to the end.

 * If configure fails with a 'cannot run C compiled programs' error, try this:
 * FEATURES=-sandbox emerge sandbox

Using FEATURES=-sandbox helps. The message suggesting this measure was however conditioned on other diagnostic.
