Hi, the quickest answer I can give you is that this is probably related to some java-set environment variables, I believe they're related to javacc or similar.  Anyway, as a work around, you can unset the VERSION environment variable and it should all build ok.  If you're still having the trouble after that, leave a note and I'll reopen the other bug...
