I've tried to compile a gnash-0.7.2 overlay ebuild with kde useflag. This my experience (on amd64): using useflag it doesn't compile nor gnash-0.7.2 and gnash-0.7.2_p20099999 doesn't compile. whitout agg use both compile but: (using a test application built with vnc2swf) gnash-0.7.2 runs fast too much. gnash-0.7.2_p20099999 stops klash and doesn't not work. So, I think gnash-0.7.2* is not ready for use "kde" on amd64. In my attachment I put: - emerge--info - overlay ebuilds for gnash, with kde useflag - all emerge output with and without "agg" useflag.
Already removed from 0.7.2; live cvs ebuilds are unsupported, feel free to submit patches upstream. ;) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 155653 ***
Created attachment 102488 [details] gnash-0.7.2* for kde
Hmmm, well, someone re-added the thing. Shrug.
Under amd64 I can't even compile gnash with kde use flags enabled. Please remove the kde use flag and klash support if it's totally broken.
genstef, enjoy... :P
should work with a specific use flag combination, you need to try around a bit. Maybe we can find out broken combinations and error out on those. What are your useflags please?

thanks, I added a "die" to the ebuilds when both are set.
(In reply to comment #9) > thanks, I added a "die" to the ebuilds when both are set. > pay attention. on amd64, even without the agg use flag, gnash compiles, but I'can't use it, because animations run fast too much.
sorry, I had such problems too and have added the kde option on popular demand. If you have problems please disable kde and agg or ask for help upstream. Thanks
