- no maintainer - doesn't compile - last release over two years ago, not yet in portage Please, remove this.
What do I need to do to get this back into Portage? The reported compile error is silly (gnome.h: No such file or directory, a missing dependency in the ebuild perhaps?). On my system (Gentoo ~x86), gtktalog always compiled fine without a hitch, and it's working great. And I couldn't find a worthy replacement for this program yet. If there are serious bugs in this software that make the removal absolutely necessary, I'd like to hear about them. I've been using this for a long time, my catalogue has grown huge over the years, and so far I didn't notice any problems with it.

File a patch for the compile error.
This is package.masked for gnome-1 removal. Not much point in fixing this.
Removed for Bug 154102
