this error is usually because your multilib is broken run something like: echo 'int main(){}' > foo.c gcc foo.c -o foo ./foo gcc foo.c -o foo -m32 ./foo
I don't have "IA32 Emulation" enabled in my kernel and I'd prefer not to have multilib at all ... the only app of any significance (that I'm even vaguely interested in) that is still 32-bit only is OpenOffice. So is there any way to make multilib not be required?
you need to use a non-multilib profile ... go ask on the amd64 channel/forums to find out more info
this isnt a bug
