On systems where gtk+-1.x and/or glib-1.x have been eliminated, gnucash fails to emerge because it is looking for >=dev-libs/g-wrap-1.3.4.  dev-libs/g-wrap-1.3.4 requires glib-1.x.  Bug 125468 addresses a version bump for dev-libs/g-wrap but has not yet been resolved and therefore dev-libs/g-wrap-1.3.4 is the newest version available in portage at this moment.  Until this is resolved and dev-libs/g-wrap-1.9.6 is released into portage, gnucash will not emerge on systems without glib-1.x.
