The latest available version of gputils is 0.10.6 but the latest version that is in portage is 0.10.2. The existing ebuild works fine if you just rename it to bump the version number up (ie. "mv gputils-0.10.2.ebuild gputils-0.10.6.ebuild"). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Two new versions of gputils have actually been released since I submitted this bug, however I haven't submitted new bug reports for them because the new versions (0.11.0 and 0.11.1) have major new features included (in particular, a linker) which the author describes as pre-alpha. Actually they're not that bad, but they are a bit buggy. 0.10.6 on the other hand has been perfectly stable in my experience. I would recommend adding two new ebuilds to portage- an unmasked version 0.10.6 for people who just want a stable assembler and a masked version 0.11.1 for people willing to test out the new linker.
Can't get around to this anytime soon, sorry.
