Description Bjarke Istrup Pedersen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-02 13:21:16 UTC
When trying to emerge kde 3.1, it b0rks with this error:

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies

aux_get(): (1) couldn't open cache entry for kde-base/kdeaddons-3.0.2
               Check for syntax error or corruption in the ebuild.

!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "~kde-base/kdeaddons-3.1" have been masked.
!!! (dependency required by "kde-base/kde-3.1" [ebuild])

Removing the old ebuilds for kdeaddons (below 3.0.5) did the trick.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge rsync
2. emerge kde
Actual Results:
it b0rked with this error.

Expected Results:
installed kde

Well, didn't find bug #14940 with the search function. (Searched for kdeaddons)
