1. there is a newer version of sisctrl - http://www.winischhofer.eu/cgi-bin/downloadpage.cgi?dllink=http://www.winischhofer.net/sis/sisctrl-0.0.20051202.tar.gz (20051202 available and 20050618 in portage) the 20051202 works for me (more stable than previous) 2. sisctrl wants libXv.so and is searching for it in /usr/X11R6/lib where the lib is in /usr/lib(64)/ ########### checking for libXv.so or libXv.a location... not found in /usr/X11R6/lib ########### and the compile dies in the middle - I've symlinked /usr/lib64 under /usr/X11R6/lib and sisctrl compiles and works (it starts thats for sure). I've used it in the past to easily clone display to LCD projectors (on a SiS "powered" Acer Aspire)
sisctrl-0.0.20051202 in portage, fixed.
