So, I wanted to install a new system from stage 1. (I guess it is not supported?) The bootstrap.sh went fine. Then emerge system went fine, (I haven't seen errors, afair). Then I said: emerge postfix cron etc. And then it seemed that shadow is not yet installed. Is it part of 'system'? Thanks!
Please, don't restrict bugs without any reason. Just leave the checkboxes alone. (In reply to comment #2) > So, I wanted to install a new system from stage 1. (I guess it is not > supported?) Good guess. > The bootstrap.sh went fine. > Then emerge system went fine, (I haven't seen errors, afair). emerge -e system? > Then I said: emerge postfix cron etc. > And then it seemed that shadow is not yet installed. > Is it part of 'system'? Yes, it is part of system. Anyway, eutils.eclass should depend on shadow, not the individual ebuilds that inherit it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 53269 ***
