Reopen with 'equery b /usr/sbin/undrop' output.
Comment 2 Christophe Garault 2006-09-21 09:07:31 UTC
marge ~ # equery belongs /usr/sbin/undrop

Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 09:08:35 UTC
Shrug. We can't fix collisions with orphaned files. Delete it and move on. Feel free to reopen once you've found what installed it.
Comment 4 Christophe Garault 2006-09-21 09:21:16 UTC
Version 1.6 of johntheripper is allready installed. I thought that file undrop was belonging to it but it doesn't. Sorry. :-(

Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 09:24:27 UTC
ebuild versions in the same slot never trigger collisions, that would make upgrading impossible. So no, not johntheripper.
Comment 6 Christophe Garault 2006-09-22 01:45:49 UTC
Ok, things are clear now. Thanks a lot Jakub.
Comment 7 Christophe Garault 2006-09-23 02:42:13 UTC
Shame on me:

marge ~ # file /usr/sbin/undrop
/usr/sbin/undrop: symbolic link to `john'
marge ~ #

So is this a bug in the new ebuild or the old one (1.6) ?
