Well I get (nearly) the same error as 14682 here with CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe" which should not be too aggressive but quite normal. I'm using a freshly compiled gcc 2.95.3-r8. Here's the sandbox log: open_wr: /kwizard.loT open_wr: /kwizard.loT open_wr: /ktextedit.loT open_wr: /ktextedit.loT I'm gonna try without -O but that might take till tomorrow.
you doing concurrent emerges ?
Well if doing an "emerge -f kde" to get the other packages counts as concurrent emerge, then yes otherwise no.
Hmpf! Merged it without _any_ other emerge command running and it worked well with my standard CFLAGS. Now you just gotta tell me if it was just random bit flipping or why an emerge -f can bring a compile to fail with a sandbox violation.
Carpaski, this is a bugreport about concurrent emerges when one of the two is in fetch-only mode. Do what you will with it :-)
