Description Wolf Giesen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-14 11:34:41 UTC
woodpecker/https throws an SSL cert at me that is valid from 7/mar/2004 15:58:05 GMT to 6/apr/2004 15:58:05 GMT, which is 2+ years ago. Obviously, my browser would warn me about that.

I just talked to Ramereth who confirmed the dates, so I file this as a reminder :)

Sorry if this is a dupe, I obviously didn't find the original bug, then.

*cough*

Guys, it's really not me only. Besides Ramereth's confirmation we have more reports from #-security (of course). I guess we're all ok with a self-signed one (yeah :P), but some browsers really make a mess out of that cert.

Just the monthly reminder :P

It's been another month again ^_^

Probably somebody should close this as WONTFIX or sth. :P

We are currently discussing a new setup for SSL-Certificates. So, I will make this bug a duplicate for the general SSL-Certs-bug.

I know it's bad that you see a very old cert, but it's just that you can use encryption rather than authentication.
