I tried to compile the package on x86 w/ gcc-4.3.1 and got
following error:

>  FLUSHFILE
> make: *** No rule to make target `random.o', needed by `randpar'.  Stop.

Thanks for testing.  I was able to replicate the bug by setting MAKEOPTS to '-j2'.  Just committed ebuild now forces MAKEOPTS to be '-j1'.
