Description Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-06 20:13:13 UTC
As you all know cdrkit is the fork of cdrtools and blah blah you know the rest of the story. So please test and keyword for your arch's.

Thanks

I forgot to mention i made a symlink to cdrecord so you can test with any frontend.
Comment 2 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-07 05:02:21 UTC
added ~ppc64
Comment 3 Tim Yamin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-07 11:23:02 UTC
~ia64 done. I added sys-libs/libcap to DEPEND as it didn't want to build without it.
Comment 4 Wormo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-12 16:31:25 UTC
blanks and burns ok, but there is a new error message that I don't remember from old cdrecord (was running as root btw):

Error: Cannot gain SYS_RAWIO capability, is wodim installed SUID root? Reason: Operation not permitted

Since it does do the job, marking cdrkit ~ppc -- but I'm still curious what that message is about

~sparc, it makes your ebuild big and strong

No clue... We don't install cd-writer applications suid-root by default.

I just noticed, you marked it 'sparc' instead of '~sparc'. Before we switch to stable I would like to resolve bug #147880.

Also, needs >=dev-util/cmake-2.4 keyworded stable so it can't be stabilized before that's done.

OMG typo! now ~sparc.
Comment 10 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-25 02:07:46 UTC
Can we have this tested on your arch ? cdrkit will be needed for the livecd's afaik since cdrtools license doesn't permit.
Comment 11 Brian Hall 2007-01-25 16:27:10 UTC
Been using cdrkit for awhile on ~amd64 with no issues noted.
Comment 12 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-04-11 01:37:37 UTC
Stable for HPPA.
Comment 13 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-07 16:38:24 UTC
~alpha done, thanks Tobias
Comment 14 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-04 19:01:41 UTC
No keywords were actually dropped, so it's just a request with no real need. Removing arm/mips and s390 from CC and closing as FIXED.
