same for me
Comment 2 Rares Sfirlogea 2006-10-08 11:02:26 UTC
I have the same problem. Isn't there a way to fix it?
Comment 3 sw1ft 2006-10-19 19:06:47 UTC
Yeah, there's a simple fix.

Find this line in the .ebuild:

use amd64 && epatch ${FILESDIR}/${P}-amd64.patch

Remove the "use amd64 &&" part so that it just says this:

epatch ${FILESDIR}/${P}-amd64.patch

Then, as usual, run ebuild <name of ebuild> digest and re-emerge. Should work fine.
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 00:59:24 UTC
xmms and all plugins are now package.masked and will be removed from the tree in one month.

@Flameeyes: you forgot to p.mask this one; WONTFIX once done. ;)
Comment 5 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 01:31:45 UTC
Ready to mask (wait till I commit).
