I recommend this be stabilized as 6.5 does not compile with GCC-4.1.1 as seen here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145983 I didn't test version 6.6 but as other arches ie hppa, ia64 & ppc have stabilized this version i think that x86 should also go with this version.
