config.log demonstrating the problem

Hi, I've also experienced this, and since this bug needed info, here's what I've got.

It appears to be the test program used by ./configure, and it looks like it needs the libraries -lrpcsecgss and -lgssapi reordering.

I'm not going after a patch myself at the moment, just came across it when I was rebuilding my system. Hope this is of some help...

Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-08-31 16:42:02 UTC
no, the library order is correct

the problem is that librpcsecgss.so does not link against libgssapi.so even though it uses symbols from that library
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-09-05 22:25:41 UTC
upstream took my fix (sort of) so it'll be in the next librpcsecgss

back ported upstream version to 0.14-r1
