emerge =gnome-base/libglade-0.17-r6 fails:

I also tried adding "=gnome-base/libglade-0.17-r6 -X" to /etc/portage/package.use, but it did not help. Unsetting DISPLAY did not help either.

try setting USE="-doc"

Gnome herd: this is libglade from Gnome 1.x ... what's the status on this one?

Yes, I use X (with Konsole and "su -"), as usual.
